Day Wise Itinerary
Day 0: 16/10 REPORT KOLKATA AIRPORT AT 2200 HRS
Day 1: 17/10: FLY FROM KOLKATA TO KUNMING TO XI’AN (L, D)
Fly by China Eastern at 0110 hrs. Arrive Kunming at 0620 hrs. Further fly to Xi’an at 0950 hrs. Arrive at 1200 noon transfer to the hotel and check in (Standard check in time 3.00 pm). Xi’an is a historical and cultural city in northwest China, renowned as an ancient capital with over 3,000 years of history. Afternoon visit Big Wild Goose Pagoda and Xi’an City Wall. O/n stay at Xi’an
Day 2: 18/10: TERRACOTTA WARRIOR. OVERNIGHT TRAIN FROM XIAN (B, L, PD)
After breakfast check out and proceed for Terracotta Warrior. The Terracotta Warriors in Xi’an, China, feature three main, active excavation pits (1, 2, and 3) housing thousands of unique, life-sized clay soldiers, horses, and chariots designed to protect Emperor Qin Shi Huang in the afterlife. Key sights include Pit 1’s massive army, Pit 2’s specialized units and the Bronze Chariots. Later transfer to the Railway station. O/n train journey in sleeper coach
Day 3: 19/10: ARRIVE BEIJING. BEIJING CITY TOUR (B, L, D)
Arrive in Beijing and have your breakfast at a restaurant. Proceed to the hotel and check in. Beijing, the capital of China, is a sprawling metropolis of over 21 million people that flawlessly blends thousands of years of imperial history with cutting-edge modernity. It is characterized by iconic landmarks like the Forbidden City and Great Wall. Visit Tiananmen Square, a city square in the city centre of Beijing, The Forbidden City is the next spot which is the imperial palace complex in the center of the Imperial City in Beijing. It was the residence of 24 Ming and Qing dynasty Emperors and the center of political power in China for over 500 years from 1420 to 1924. If time permits, also visit Summer Palace. Day 4: 20/10: GREAT WALL, BEIJING CITY TOUR (B, L, D)
Today you will visit the most stunning The Great Wall of China. Juyong Pass is a mountain pass located in the Changping District of Beijing Municipality, over 50 kilometers from central Beijing. The Great Wall of China passes through and the Cloud Platform was built here in the year 1342. Later in the afternoon visit Jade Factory which is a large showroom that doubles as a museum and shop. You will receive a guided tour explaining how to identify quality jade. Also take a photo stop at Olympic Stadium. O/n stay at Beijing
Day 5: 21/10: BEIJING TO SHANGHAI BY BULLET TRAIN (B, PL, D)
After breakfast check out and transfer to the Railway station. Board on a High Speed Bullet Train. Enjoy the supersonic speed and cover nearly 1400 km in just 5 hours. Transfer to the hotel and check in. Later in the evening enjoy the River Cruise on Huangpo River and become mesmerized by a game of illumination. On the cruise, you will see the distinctive contrasts between the classical European buildings and soaring modern skyscrapers from the two sides of the Huangpu River. O/n stay at Shanghai
Day 6: 22/10: SHANGHAI CITY TOUR (B, L, D)
Shanghai is China’s premier economic powerhouse and global financial hub, functioning as a high-tech manufacturing, trade, and logistics epicenter. It offers a business-friendly environment for multinational corporations with a focus on industries like finance, AI and professional services, while acting as a gateway for foreign investment. Today you will visit The Bund: Famous for its stunning views of the Pudong skyline and European-style buildings, Oriental Pearl Tower (photo stop), Yu Garden (Yuyuan): A classical Chinese garden from the Ming Dynasty, featuring pavilions and ponds, located near the busy City God Temple bazaar, Nanjing Road: A bustling, world-renowned shopping street that stretches from the Bund to People’s Square, Jade Buddha Temple. The rest of the day is free to enjoy city vibes on your own or at your leisure. O/n stay at Shanghai
Day 7: 23/10: SHANGHAI CITY ORIENTATION. FLY TO KUNMING (B, L, PD)
After breakfast check out and proceed to Zhujiajiao Water Town. Explore traditional canal-side architecture outside the modern city center. Later transfer to the airport and fly to Kunming. On arrival transfer to the hotel and check in. O/n stay at Kunming
Day 8: 24/10: STONE FOREST VISIT. FLY FOR KOLKATA (B, L, PD)
This morning check out from your hotel after breakfast. Visit Stone Forest. Later in the afternoon visit a flower market and then drive to the airport. Catch the flight for Kolkata
